Frosty Inspirations
Frosty Inspirations is a unique project featuring a 4-series poster with hand-drawn motivational quotations to uplift and inspire during difficult times. These beautiful posters are inspired by Risa Rodil, a renowned Filipino graphic designer, and offer a personal touch with no use of fonts.
To kick off this project, I began by sketching out the scenes I had in mind for each poster. Then, I worked on figuring out the best layout for the quotes. It took a few tries, but eventually, I got it just right. After that, I played around with different colour palettes until I found one that felt just perfect for the sketch. Once I was happy with that, I dove into Adobe Illustrator to really fine-tune all the little details. Finally, I put everything together in mock-ups to make sure it looked as good as possible.

Empower Her
Empower Her is a project that showcases a 2-set poster celebrating international women's day. These posters feature inspirational quotes about women empowerment and are all hand-drawn with no fonts used. It is a project that aims to celebrate and honour the achievements and contributions of women around the world.
I start things off by doodling some rough layouts of the quotes in Procreate. It takes a few tries to get them just right, but I keep tweaking until they feel right. Then comes the fun part—I play around with colours until I find a combination that sings. Once the sketch feels solid, I switch over to Adobe Illustrator to polish it up and add some illustrations that really tie everything together. After that, I lay it all out on mock-ups to help the viewers visualize the design in real life.

Holiday Eggnog
Introducing Holiday Eggnog - an E-learning website dedicated to the popular holiday drink, Eggnog. This interactive platform teaches users about the drink, recipes, and different types of Eggnog. Our team of four worked together to develop the content, with a focus on illustrations and animations to enhance the learning experience.
I began crafting the illustrations based on the collaborative branding decisions made by our team. Working closely with the web designer, I produced the necessary visuals using Adobe Illustrator, including borders, backgrounds, various eggnog versions, and all the animated characters. Transitioning to Adobe After Effects, I developed simple yet impactful animations to enhance our website's appeal. Additionally, I created an animated guide demonstrating the steps for crafting the eggnog drink, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding for our audience. This project was particularly fulfilling for the whole team, especially the animation aspect.

A Day in Kensington
A Day in Kensington is an interactive map that highlights all the best places to eat, shop, and enjoy activities with family and friends in Calgary's vibrant Kensington neighbourhood. The map features colourful aesthetics and illustrations that truly bring the area to life.
We kicked things off by brainstorming and crafting the branding together. We settled on the idea of creating a guided tour experience for Kensington, dubbing it 'A Day in Kensington.' Given our target audience of Millennials and Gen Z, I aimed for a vibrant and lively aesthetic that perfectly represents the Kensington neighbourhood. I dove into developing the branding in Adobe Illustrator, incorporating bold colours and playful illustrations to amplify the overall feel. These elements not only added visual flair but also enhanced the user experience of our interactive map. Next up, I delved into designing illustrations for each location, ensuring they truly captured the essence of Kensington. By weaving in the signature purple colour and road illustration from the branding throughout the design elements, like borders and text containers, everything seamlessly came together on our website.

Pozak's
Pozak's is a Filipino coffee brand that is making waves with their homemade cold brew, providing customers with an out-of-this-world coffee experience. This project showcases their cold brew in a way that evokes a tranquil emotion, partnered with a Japanese aesthetic, creating a brand that is authentic and inviting.
After conducting an in-depth interview with the clients to grasp their vision, I crafted Pozak's brand logo with a Japanese-minimalist aesthetic infused with futurism, integrating their desired vibrant tangerine colour. With their future café in mind, I aimed for instant recognition and a subtle blend of Japanese cleanliness and futuristic appeal. Using Adobe Illustrator ensured precise execution. For the commercial video, I departed from my usual playful style to match their serene vibe, shooting with an iPad Pro's camera and employing zoomed-in, slow-motion shots to depict the cold brew-making process. The tranquil music choice enhanced the narrative. Incorporating the logo into mock-ups solidified the brand identity. The client's positive feedback, particularly on the logo's vibe accuracy and the video's atmosphere, affirmed our successful collaboration, leaving a rewarding sense of accomplishment.

Nabi
Introducing Nabi, a socializing app designed for newcomers looking to make friends and explore their city. Inspired by personal experience, Nabi was created to help individuals connect and visit new places with ease. The app's warm and friendly aesthetic is represented by a butterfly, as "Nabi" translates to butterfly in Korean.
This project was created to showcase animation skills using Adobe After Effects. With a different shots of friends enjoying each other's company, selecting the appropriate stock footage played a huge role in producing this video. The aim is to create a well rounded introduction for Nabi by adding in a fluttering butterfly icon throughout the video, and animating the core values of the brand. The combination of the stock footage and animations perfectly represent Nabi's values, bringing the brand to life.
